Job Description

The Sales & Marketing Intern directly contributes to the success of the company by providing administrative support to the sales and marketing teams. This position assists top-producing sales team members in maintaining existing customer relationships and increasing business through new account development. The intern will support the marketing team with campaigns, event coordination and registration tracking. The Sales & Marketing Intern will gain confidence in phone and email conversations, achieve a greater understanding of decisions technology leaders in any industry have to make, and sharpen skills in scheduling and organization. This is a temporary, seasonal position for the summer of 2021. Expected pay will be $10.00/hour with the ability to work up to 40 hours per week at our Overland Park, KS headquarters. 


  • Support top producing Senior Account Managers to maintain trusted advisor status and grow existing account relationships
  • Work with Account Administrators to develop and implement sales strategies to build trusted advisor relationships with new accounts
  • Complete regular solutions training and maintain up to date knowledge of solutions offered
  • Track all sales activities completed for sales opportunities in CRM system (ConnectWise)
  • Provide reporting metrics to track sales goals using Power BI
  • Assist with coordinating marketing campaign promotion to drive attendance
  • Assist with post-marketing campaign follow up
  • Provide metrics and analysis of marketing event registrations and attendance during marketing campaign life cycle for team members, marketing team, and vendors
  • Assist Marketing and Account Administrators with CRM group cleanup to ensure contacts are properly organized
  • Create messaging for call campaigns and email follow-ups for the sales and marketing teams
  • Assist the Marketing team with event coordination


  • Temporary/ Part-time/ Seasonal team members are eligible to participate in the Choice Solutions 401(k) retirement savings plan if at least 21 years old. 


The Account Administrator will gain a deep understanding of the Brand Mission and will filter all interactions and standards through it.  Will hold self and others accountable to the Brand Mission in daily operations.

  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Quite:  Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • Must handle multiple assignments simultaneously while placing proper prioritization on taks
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within a team, both in-person and through virtual media outlets
  • Capable of managing own workload with minimal supervision to tight deadlines
  • Professionally assertive
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, marketing, communication or a related field completed or in progress
  • Desire to learn IT sales


  • Will be available via Slack or email to provide timely answers to coworkers, vendors, and customers
  • Report to the Overland Park, KS office during scheduled work hours
  • Provide general office administrative assistance as needed
  • Complete product and vendor training/certifications as assigned
  • Must have or obtain a laptop for business use to provide seamless mobility in the office and for remote access
